【作品紹介】芝山蒔絵 象と傘美人置物

この作品が作られた明治時代は、武士社会の消滅と共に、
彫金師、蒔絵師、刀鍛冶など職人が打撃を受けた時期です。
その職人たちの手で作られた、西欧への輸出用の美術工芸品です。
彫金、蒔絵、宝石、螺鈿、珊瑚が惜しげなくちりばめられています。

【Collection】Shibayama Makie Zou to Kasabijin

The Meij period when this work has made, was the time Samurai society ended.
As the Samurai society has ended, masters of engraving, gold lacquer and swordsmith also have been damaged.
This is an art craftwork made by those masters and exported to the Western Europe.
Engraving, gold lacquer, jewelry, mother-of-pearl ‘RADEN’ and corals are plentifully used.
