【作品紹介】平戸焼 白磁大輪菊置物
江戸時代後期か、明治時代の作品と思われます。
花弁は白磁で一枚一枚幅も形も違い、押型ではありません。
花台の葉は平戸焼独特の青磁で、白磁と青磁をどうやって一つに焼成したのか謎なのです。
美しくふっくらとした丸みの大輪の菊は見事です。
【Collection】Hirado-yaki Hakuji Tairingiku
It seems to be a work from the late Edo period or the Meiji period.
Petals are made by white porcelain, every single one of them are different, not molded.
Leaves on the pedestal are characteristic celadon of Hirado porcelain and is still a mystery how the white porcelain and celadon were baked together as a piece.
The gorgeously bloomed large, plumpy chrysanthemum is just impressive.
